About the Speaker
Holding a PhD in International Relations, a Master’s degree in Strategy, and postgraduate qualifications in Peace and War Studies, Colonel Carlos Mendes Dias has an extensive academic and military career. With experience in international missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Mozambique, he has served in command positions within the Portuguese Army and worked as a specialist lecturer in Geopolitics and Leadership.
He is the author of key reference works in geopolitics and strategy, as well as a regular geopolitical analyst on national television (CNN Portugal).
