On 15 April, the Fundação Cidade de Lisboa (FCL) celebrated three and a half decades of commitment and activity in the service of the city and its people. The occasion was marked by a commemorative event that brought together friends and partners of the institution over the years, chaired by the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, alongside Professor António Carmona Rodrigues, Chairman of the FCL Board of Directors, and Ambassador Eugénio Anacoreta Correia, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
One of the most significant moments of the event was the presentation and distribution of the commemorative book honouring Álvaro Pinto Correia, former president of the FCL, entitled ‘Momentos e Eventos’, which recounts the key moments of his career linked to the foundation. The book includes the speech by the President of the Republic, General António Ramalho Eanes, amongst others. A commemorative book marking the 35th anniversary of the Fundação Cidade de Lisboa was also launched and distributed, highlighting the various activities carried out across the institution’s different areas of work.
