On 14 November, the Tod@s IN project was officially launched in Alvalade, at a signing ceremony for protocols under the BIPZIP programme, attended by Vera Pinto, director of the Lisbon City Foundation (FCL). This innovative project aims to promote social inclusion and academic success for vulnerable children and young people in a post-pandemic context through non-formal education strategies, emotional support, and the involvement of the community.

A strategic partnership for inclusion

The project is promoted by the Lisbon City Foundation and has the partnership of Par – Respostas Sociais, the Alvalade School Group, the Rainha Dona Leonor School Group, the Alvalade Parish Council and the Campo Grande Parish Social Centre. As part of the Ignição 2024 dimension of the BIPZIP programme, Tod@s IN will focus on students in the 2nd and 3rd cycles, aged between 10 and 15, intervening in the EB Almirante Gago Coutinho and EB Eugénio dos Santos schools, located in the BIPZIP Murtas and Bairro São João de Brito / Pote de Água areas.

Among the planned initiatives are:

  1. Individualised tutoring, focused on emotional management and study support;
  2. Group activities to foster healthy behaviours and positive social relationships;
  3. Facilitating coordination between school, family and community, promoting an integrated approach to academic success;
  4. Formation of a network of local tutors, trained to be agents of development in the community.
